The National Rail Census Report 2022 features an extensive array of graphs and charts, serving as vital visual aids to convey complex information. To enhance their accessibility the task of simplifying and optimizing these graphs was assigned to Wonder Works.

In response to this challenge, Wonder Works meticulously designed a comprehensive colour palette that not only exhibited high contrast but also exhibited harmonious combinations. This approach was taken to accommodate the diverse visual needs of the readers while maintaining a pleasing visual aesthetic. In addition to color considerations, the font size utilized in the report was intentionally set to a large and easily readable format, ensuring that the text is fully accessible to readers of all backgrounds and abilities. This effort aimed to transform the complex data presented in the report into an inclusive and user-friendly format, promoting transparency and understanding in national rail statistics.
